A night of celebrations

The best-performing dealerships, teams and individuals from throughout Landpower and CLAAS Harvest Centre network have been recognised at the Strive Annual Excellence Awards held in Christchurch recently.
The two-day program kicked off with a welcome event on the Wednesday evening in the magnificently-restored Great Hall in the Arts Centre, followed by an all-day conference at The Piano: Centre for Music and the Arts on Thursday.
This year’s conference addressed the enormous opportunities and challenges facing the agricultural sector in New Zealand and Australia, not the least being rapidly-changing consumer expectations, sustainability and technology.
Speakers included Agribusiness New Zealand Chairman, Conor English; KPMG Farm Enterprise Specialist, Julia Jones; BNZ Head of Agribusiness, Colin Mansbridge; Silver Fern Farms Co-Chair, Rob Hewett; Dairy NZ Dairy Systems Specialist, Mark Neal; Landpower General Manager of Product, Tim Needham and was facilitated by McWilliams Consulting Director, Dr Kyle McWilliams.
That night, more than 160 guests from throughout New Zealand, Australia, Germany and England attended the Strive Annual Excellence Awards Gala Dinner held at Christchurch Art Gallery.
VIP guests included CLAAS UK CEO, Trevor Tyrrell; CLAAS Global Export Manager, Elke Hoyermann; CLAAS Global Country Sales Manager, Julian Kollmeyer and CLAAS Customer Service Inspector ANZ, Marcus Schmidt as well as JCB General Manager for Pacific, Richard Myles and JCB Regional Sales Manager for Agriculture, John Plummer.
Master of Ceremonies was well-known NZ television personality, Kanoa Lloyd, best known as presenter of The Project. Congratulations to all our winners and finalists and a big ‘thank you’ to our sponsors!
