Job Description

CLAAS Harvest Centre Canterbury in conjunction with Carrfields Machinery sells and services new and used agricultural machinery including world leading brands like CLAAS, JCB, AMAZONE, MacDon, Novag & Coolamon throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Our Timaru branch are looking for a Parts Specialist (or trainee) to join their team.  Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for providing excellent and efficient support and supply of required parts and materials to our customers and service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Field telephone and retail counter parts enquiries
• Assist with workshop parts queries
• Set up visual displays of products in the showroom
• Picking and packing orders for distribution
• Inventory Control - stock ordering, receipting of stock
• Keeping work environment tidy and orderly so everything is in it’s place and easily accessible

Key Skills required for this role include:

• Experience or an interest in working in a customer focused Parts position
• Great communication skills and be able work as part of a team
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Competent and comfortable using a computer
