This Exciting Opportunity:
Our Sales Specialists are driven and customer focused Agri-professionals who are trained and trusted advisors helping farmers and contractors get the most out of their day with our world leading agricultural equipment. As a key link to our clients, you'll have an important part to play in the success of their business which will arise by working on efficiencies and innovative solutions. In this role, the bulk of your time will be spent visiting our clients on their farms, identifying needs, selling tailored solutions, and strengthening relationships based on trust, credibility, and mutual respect.
The role is based in Feilding at our Central Districts Harvest Centre and will cover a wide range of agricultural customers including Dairy, Sheep & beef, Arable, Horticulture and Contractors throughout the Manawatu and Rangitikei region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a programme for visiting current and prospective customers, assessing their requirements, and advising them on the most appropriate machinery, thus achieving sales targets.
- Work with our customers financial requirements, working on creative finance-based solutions.
- Co-ordinating product demos and presentations with some of the most advanced machinery in the world.
- Be a part of Local and national Field Day exhibitions
- Utilise our nation-wide footprint to find the right machine for your customers.
- Seek out opportunities to trade in machinery to fill the needs of your customers.
- Maintaining our New and Used machinery presentation with our online and dealership presence.
- Help with local community-based, hands-on sponsorships to promote our brand.
- Continuously build and maintain customer relationships throughout your region.
- Ensure that our customer needs, and expectations are exceeded through continuous communication.
About You:
While helping farmers increase their efficiencies and profitability is a key focus of this role, you're set for some impressive growth of your own. Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and how it can benefit your customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- A can-do positive attitude with the ability to build trustworthy relationships.
- Tech savvy with the ability to maintain your customers portfolio.
- Ideally, some mechanical understanding
- We will teach you the rest!
