About this exciting role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working in conjunction with our Service Manager, the Workshop Manager will effectively manage the day-to-day work of the service team whilst providing continuous coaching and feedback to enhance the workshop team efficiency and individual development.
Other responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement internal and external customer service strategies to enhance overall customer experience
- Provide workshop and remote technical support to the service team as required
- Be responsive as the first point of contact for clients, management and your team including some afterhours support
- Identify areas for improvement throughout the service department and implement appropriate action plans
- Set clear performance goals and offer consistent coaching and feedback to enhance both team efficiency and individual development
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination of customer service including the assembly and pre-delivery checks on new machinery and the reconditioning of used machinery
- Consistently and actively promote, and always abides by the company Health and Safety policy
Requirements:
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Strong Agriculture industry background and knowledge beneficial
- Analytical, well organised, structured, and outcomes-focused
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a good work ethic
- Intermediate computer skills - Microsoft office and system savvy
