COVID-19 Update for CLAAS Harvest Centre Customers

In line with the recent announcements made by our State and Federal Government regarding COVID-19, CLAAS Harvest Centre have decided to take the following measures to ensure we can continue to support your business.

Farmers, and Agriculture and Food Production are an essential service and keeping our customers going with Parts and Service Support, along with the health of our staff is our highest priority. Our business continues to remain open, but will operate under the following amended conditions:

Parts

Our Parts departments will remain open at all times, although we encourage customers to avoid entering Dealership buildings unless absolutely necessary, with all Parts enquiries and orders to be placed by phone or email. When arriving at our branches, Parts staff may load Parts into your vehicles, or leave Parts at a designated pick-up spot, thus reducing contact with customers at all times. We continue to work closely with our suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure that any delays and business disruptions are kept to a minimum.

Service

Technicians will still be available to service your machines both on farm and in the dealership. When in a branch, they will adhere to strict guidelines i.e. observe the 4m rule. When on farm, we will be instructing them to work in isolation, and upon completion of any job, will sanitize the cab and interior.

Sales and Admin

Staff that can work offsite will be doing so. This includes Administration, Sales and myself, where possible. Staff will be available on email and phone at all times for account and sales enquiries, however face to face contact will be limited. When required for operations such as machine installations and handover, sales staff will adhere to strict social distancing and visit frequency and duration kept to a bare minimum.

We have ensured that all staff are aware and will follow the guidelines set out, as we all act together to reduce the further spread of COVID-19. We appreciate and thank you for your continued support throughout this very difficult time, and look forward to doing everything possible to keep our customers whom are completing essential services operational.
