CLAAS release sleek new ISOBUS terminal

Published on 15 October 2020

CLAAS has unveiled its new CEMIS 700 operating terminal for use with its forage harvesting technology.

The elegant black unit features a high-contrast 7” colour touchscreen, 10 backlit ISOBUS hard keys and a rotary/push button. The unit has smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces and is fully compliant with IP65 water and dust protection standards.

The display, which has automatic day/night adjustment and an integrated speaker, can also show real-time images from one or two external cameras to provide the operator with a clear view of operating conditions or any ‘blind’ spots.

The camera input can be switched between either camera at the touch of a button or automatically. Language, screen brightness and speaker volume can be manually adjusted via the settings menu. The unit’s AUX-O, AUX-N, UT1 and UT2 functionalities and ISO11783 compatibility are certified by the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF).

The new terminal will replace the existing CLAAS OPERATOR and COMMUNICATOR II units found in QUADRANT square balers, CARGOS loader wagons, ROLLANT 540 round balers and DISCO ‘butterfly’ mower combinations.

CLAAS CEMIS can be ordered from November 2020 onwards for machines delivered in spring 2021.
