Like our customers, we understand what running a family business requires. Our supplier companies, our network of dealers, and Landpower, are all family owned businesses. This commonality between our businesses guarantees like-minded and value oriented partnerships.
Culture and Values
We understand the power of relationships – with colleagues, with our customers, with local communities and within our team. We have three core values that shape our culture and the way we do business:
We Front Up
We really care about our customers. If something is not right, we will put it right. We deal with issues promptly, and professionally, and we see things through. We understand the pressures of farming and the need to be there, always.
We Keep One Step Ahead
We are always learning about farming and machinery so that we can continue to add value to our customers and provide them with the best possible advice. We keep improving our business, and ourselves, to be one step ahead by doing things smarter and more effectively. We are an early adopter of technology that improves how we do business and how farmers can better use their land..
We Enjoy What We Do
We work hard and go the extra mile to deliver what we promise to do. We take our work seriously but not ourselves. We enjoy working together and take the time to appreciate a job well done.
Our own growth lies in our ability to continue to add value through good seasons and bad by giving damn good advice and sharing our knowledge with generosity, confidence and warmth.
We care about the health and wellness of our People. The agricultural industry is renowned for its seasonal challenges and our 24/7 promise means that huge demands are often made of many of our customer facing employees during the busy harvest season.
To support our employees during these times, and all year round, we offer a range of wellness initiatives and we work hard to deliver the best services for our people.
We also offer a Landpower Plus lifestyle discount scheme which offers discounts on everyday expenses like petrol, discounts on gift purchases and vouchers as well as household expenses like Health Insurance.
Training & Career development opportunities
'Keeping Ahead' is a critical value in our organisation and we are committed to the ongoing training and development of our people to ensure that they are at the forefront of their fields. We deliver job-specific training and development which helps our people to achieve their personal professional goals and career aspirations. Examples of this training include multilevel technical service training delivered in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, in-depth product and sales training designed to improve product knowledge and soft sales skills, leadership training through LMA and many competency based training modules.
Health & Safety
Project Zero Harm is our overarching philosophy for the health and safety program at Landpower & the CLAAS Harvest Centre Network. The company is committed to a zero harm environment and has established a number of initiatives to support the safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors, customers and suppliers.
As part of Project Zero Harm, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a professional and confidential counselling service for all employees. This can be accessed by any employee who is experiencing any personal or work related difficulties to provide support and to help.
